TeleFarmer™ empowers farmers to remotely execute labor-intensive tasks, allowing them to supplement and uplift labor.
As the situation grows direr, agriculture professionals will have no choice but to rethink and redesign transportation models. Already, many have turned to innovative solutions to streamline the process and keep up with demanding customers.
Since the initial release of our Indoor AgTech Landscape in 2019, indoor agriculture has continued to garner tremendous attention and investment because of the compelling benefits of growing food in a controlled indoor environment.
Together, Semios and Agworld will form one of the largest independent AgTech solutions providers in the world, servicing growers, agronomists and ag retailers in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa.
A new generation of farmers are rising to the sustainability challenge. This agricultural revolution presents the transition from traditional farming to futuristic high-tech artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics.
To boldly grow, the world needs to implement these new innovations with the ultimate goal of cleaner, greener agriculture.
Vertical farming technologies allow for collecting the humidity produced by plants. With recirculating and recycling techniques, hydroponic and aquaponic systems can reuse 98% of water, which makes vertical farms feasible in deserts.
LettUs Grow, GrowStack, Digital Farming & Farm Urban collaborating to deliver four social-impact vertical farming projects in Wales.
This is one of the widest collaborations between leading CEA tech providers in the UK to date, with a focus on delivering vertical farms across different locations in Wales as part of a social-impact and community focused project called Crop Cycle.
Farmers Edge solutions delivered an integrated software platform that helped the Tollefson Farm become more predictive on a number of fronts.
With funding from the Tennessee Valley Authority, Watt Bar Utility District (WBUD) needed to streamline automation of its 32 tank and pump stations. System integrator Quality Controls LLC decided to use PLC, HMI, and SCADA products from CIMON to automate these facilities.
Infarm introduces its new high-capacity, cloud-connected Growing Centers - a major step in the company's efforts to accelerate the benefits to people and planet by building a scalable, sustainable and resilient global farming network
5G speeds surpass wireline network speeds and offer latency of 1 millisecond or lower, which is advantageous for applications that require real-time feedback. 5G will facilitate an increase in the amount of data transmitted over wireless systems.
Digitized and automated processes are becoming increasingly important in modern agricultural enterprises. Machine vision methods play a key role here. Among other things, they can be used for a variety of precision farming applications.
The agricultural sector is undergoing significant changes and is modernising. To take the strain off farmers, many robots are being developed to automate tasks. What specific technical characteristics should ag machinery manufacturers take into account to assist farmers?
With the time spent meticulously seeding each plug not to mention the space constraints in any seedling set-up, it's imperative that you get enough healthy seedlings out of each tray to stay on schedule.

The next evolution in Dorner's Edge Roller Technology conveyor platform, the ERT®150, is ideal for small and light-load assembly automation, as well as medical and medical-device assembly application. The ERT platform is the only pallet conveyor of its kind available with an ISO Standard Class 4 rating for cleanroom applications. Earning the ISO Standard 14644-1 Class 4 rating means Dorner's ERT150 will conform and not contribute to the contamination of cleanrooms to those standards. As implied by its name, the ERT150 (Edge Roller Technology) uses rollers to move pallets through the conveyor smoothly with no friction (a byproduct often seen in belt-driven platforms). The conveyor's open design eliminates concerns of small parts or screws dropping into rollers and causing conveyor damage or jamming. The ERT150 is suited to operate in cleanroom environments requiring a pallet handling conveyor. It is capable of zoning for no or low-back pressure accumulation and is ideal for automation assembly applications within industries including medical devices, electronics, consumer goods among others.
