Farmers Edge and Standards Council of Canada unite to establish a framework for agricultural blockchain interoperability, setting the stage for improved global traceability standards
AutoCart lets farmers set a field plan, stage locations, adjust speeds, monitor location activity and command the tractor pulling a grain cart to sync with the combine as it offloads on the go. The driverless tractor can then be returned to a predetermined unloading area.
Flexible solar such as copper indium gallium diselenide CIGS is a multi-billion dollar success on city building facades because no strengthening is needed. Harmlessly, farmers could use it across walls and buildings, selling the power.
COVID-19 is forcing the agriculture industry to re-examine long-held practices and bringing new regulations for safety. Farms that made the move to digital are better equipped to efficiently communicate and work with their labor force, but it's not too late to catch up.

The emerging solutions will help to improve crop yield and quality; optimize production efficiency and costs; reduce waste and carbon emissions from agricultural operations; further enhance food safety and security; and strengthen overall farm management.
The rising public awareness on the harmful effects of food produced from conventional chemical-fertilizer-based agriculture, the growing health consciousness of the masses, especially in North American and European countries, is also pushing up the demand for organic food.
The possibilities offered for agriculture by new technologies, big data and the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) makes precision agriculture a market that's sure to grow over the coming years.
The fresh food market has seen rapid development. Although digitalization has eliminated different hindrances and disentangled the way toward ordering produce from any corner of the world, exporting these items is still an arduous errand.
The autonomous platform is compatible with a variety of implements, including New Leader's NL5000 G5™ Crop Nutrient Applicator, which will be shown with the demo. New Leader is a strategic implement partner that will accelerate early adoption for Raven Autonomy™.
The mission of the AgTech Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators and leaders from around the globe in a range of agricultural and food technology categories, including areas such as precision agriculture.

The next evolution in Dorner's Edge Roller Technology conveyor platform, the ERT®150, is ideal for small and light-load assembly automation, as well as medical and medical-device assembly application. The ERT platform is the only pallet conveyor of its kind available with an ISO Standard Class 4 rating for cleanroom applications. Earning the ISO Standard 14644-1 Class 4 rating means Dorner's ERT150 will conform and not contribute to the contamination of cleanrooms to those standards. As implied by its name, the ERT150 (Edge Roller Technology) uses rollers to move pallets through the conveyor smoothly with no friction (a byproduct often seen in belt-driven platforms). The conveyor's open design eliminates concerns of small parts or screws dropping into rollers and causing conveyor damage or jamming. The ERT150 is suited to operate in cleanroom environments requiring a pallet handling conveyor. It is capable of zoning for no or low-back pressure accumulation and is ideal for automation assembly applications within industries including medical devices, electronics, consumer goods among others.
