As Leaders In Their Communities, Farmers Can Begin Nominating Schools For Grants Designed To Enhance STEM Education

-In 2018, the America's Farmers Grow Rural Education Program, Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, Will Award More Than $2.3 Million to Improve Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Curriculums - Starting January 1 through April 2, 2018, farmers can nominate their local public school districts to apply for $10,000 and $25,000 grants to enhance STEM education - Past winning programs have used funds to improve internet connectivity, develop industrial arts labs, and create life science and livestock learning laboratories - Since the Grow Rural Education program began in 2011, it has awarded more than $14 million in grants to rural public schools
