GroGuru to Exhibit at InfoAg Precision Agriculture Conference

GroGuru's breakthrough water management technology for commercial farmers will be on displa

GroGuru will be demonstrating its breakthrough Wireless Underground System, GroGuru® WUGS, and its revolutionary Software as a Service (SaaS), GroGuru® InSites at InfoAg on August 3-4, 2021 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel at Booth # 237.

GroGuru is all about strategic water management for farmers. They help farmers make more money by increasing crop yield and more efficiently using water, and other scarce resources, in a more sustainable way. Their hardware enabled-SaaS product is gaining widespread adoption with deployment on over 1,000 sites across 200+ farms and 20+ crop types. Specifically, GroGuru WUGS enables the permanent installation of soil sensors, even in annual broad acre row crops.

"The combination of GroGuru WUGS and GroGuru InSites effectively creates an 'easy button' for farmers and agronomic consultants as it relates to water management on the farm," said David Sloane, PhD, Chief Agronomist at GroGuru. "The GroGuru technology is really the precursor of irrigation automation on the farm."

If you have an interest in precision agriculture, you should attend InfoAg. The educational programs are perfect for learning new perspectives about how to put technology to work in the field and hearing more about new products and services as well as the unique perspective on the global research efforts in testing and creating new technologies.

For 25 years, InfoAg has remained the premier conference on the practical application of precision agriculture. Now under management by The Fertilizer Institute, the conference will expand to include a broader reach of tools, technologies, products and practices that crop advisors can use to advance agriculture. The conference will build on its strong history of educating crop advisors and agricultural retailers with the integration of a broader perspective of solutions to support the 4R Nutrient Stewardship framework.

IDS NXT ocean: grab, label, train, run AI

Artificial intelligence can be used, for example, to classify fruit varieties or to identify damaged parts (e.g. apples with marks or colour deviations). To cover all possible variances with classical image processing would be very time-consuming and costly. AI is able to solve these challenges in no time at all. With IDS NXT ocean, there is now a user-friendly complete solution for industrial applications available. It requires neither special knowledge in deep learning nor camera programming.
