Solinftec celebrates FIRA USA with Solix elected best robot of the event
The global company presented its Solix robot to the audience, of around two thousand people, who voted for the technology as the best in FIRA. Voting took place during the event program.
Solinftec participated in FIRA USA, the largest robotics fair focused on agribusiness in the United States, which takes place annually in Salinas (CA). The global company presented its Solix robot to the audience, of around two thousand people, who voted for the technology as the best in FIRA. Voting took place during the event program.
"What we showed at FIRA was our ability to offer a technology capable of changing how agriculture has been done to this day and we were able to prove this, as we are a company that has already been delivering solid results in the American Corn Belt", stated Guilherme Guiné, Head of Solinftec Operations in North America. In its first commercial year, American producers who invested in Solix recorded a 95% reduction in the volume of herbicides applied, a percentage that helped the company expand its operations in large cooperatives such as Co-Alliance, Carroll FS and Premier Ag. "The result of the vote that took place during FIRA demonstrated that more than just seeing technologies, producers want something accessible and that actually delivers results to their business", concluded.

X-Rail: reliability and resistance to environmental impurities
Rollon's X-Rail linear rails are a reliable solution in environments susceptible to impurities. Equipped with rolling elements with shaped and flat raceways, they are available in several versions: galvanized, nitrided or stainless-steel sheet metal. The latter version ensures total corrosion resistance, which is critical for hostile environments such as those found in vertical farming.
Particularly innovative is the T + U configuration of the X-Rail linear rails, which can compensate for the parallelism errors of mounting surfaces. This simplifies installation and reduces costs.
