FarmCon: The Can’t-Miss Event to Kick-Off 2026 Where Ag Innovation Meets Wall Street Ambition

The premium event for leading-edge farmers, ag innovators, money-makers, and the future of agriculture is back—bigger, bolder, and built for deal-making, inspiration and learning.

KANSAS CITY, MO., (AgPR) August 5, 2025 - FarmCon, the ag innovation and investment sector's most energizing event, is gearing up to ignite 2026 as a launchpad for farming's latest breakthroughs. Widely hailed as agriculture's select event for top-tier farmers, innovators and investors, FarmCon 2026 will include exclusive content, deeper investor connections, and a high-voltage atmosphere where ag innovation meets capital empowerment.

Set for January 7-8, 2026, in Kansas City, this year's FarmCon will again assemble more than 1,200 premier farmers, leading ag entrepreneurs, tech disruptors, investors, and legacy industry titans around a power-packed agenda.

"FarmCon is fueled by relentless optimism that the best days of American agriculture aren't behind us, they're just beginning," said Kevin Van Trump, the curator and host of FarmCon. "Ultimately, the benefactors from the activity created at FarmCon are American farmers."

Van Trump, also Founder & CEO of Farm Direction, author of The Van Trump Report, angel investor, and host of the Highly Volatile podcast, said this year's event will ignite conversations and the flow of investment capital across agriculture.

"This conference is where farmers, savvy investors, bold ideas, and future-shaping entrepreneurs converge," Van Trump said. "Our attendees walk in with dreams and walk out with plans and paths forward. If you're serious about innovation at the farm level or investment in agriculture, you need to be here."

New Year. New Energy. Same Optimism.
From seed money to scalability, FarmCon continues to evolve as the exclusive event where agricultural and investment insiders network. The 2026 program brings back fan-favorite content pillars—keynote speakers, trade show demos, and panel sessions—but with an even sharper focus on making farmers more profitable, ag businesses more successful and innovators more investor-ready.

Keynote speakers include:
• Erika Ayers Badan, ranked one of the most influential executives in digital innovation, sports, entertainment, and lifestyle media, is CEO of Food52 and the former CEO of Barstool Sports. After traditional marketing jobs at companies like Microsoft, AOL and Yahoo!, he took Barstool Sports from a rough and tumble sports and betting brand and turned it into a $550M juggernaut with over 5 billion monthly video views and 225 million followers.
• Zack Kass is one of the world's foremost authorities on applied AI, transforming the technology's immense power into business strategies and applications that expand human potential. Most recently, he served as OpenAI's Head of Go-to-Market responsible for building out the sales, solutions, and partnerships teams.
• Peter Mallouk, CEO of Creative Planning, is a financial advisor, lawyer and author who has received wide acclaim for his work in the world of wealth management. His family of companies provides wealth management services to clients nationwide and globally. He cohosts the Down the Middle podcast and is a regular guest on national financial news outlets such as Marketwatch.com, CNBC, Fox Business and the Nightly Business Report.

In addition to the keynote sessions, multiple panel discussions will dissect details ranging from where agriculture is headed to the hottest "wild card" ideas shaking up ag-adjacent sectors.
"The 2026 FarmCon sessions will range from global ag market forecasts to the kinds of motivation and learning that make you want to rewire your business model," Van Trump said.

Plans are also in the works to include a live event where ag-tech startups can directly pitch to a panel of money-ready investors.

"The investors who attend FarmCon are always looking for worthy start-ups for early-stage deals," Van Trump said. "We will try to spotlight that in a very tangible way, a process that includes real pitches, real money and real momentum."
Backing the Vision: Stratovation Group Joins the Show

This year's FarmCon will also get a strategic boost from the marketing and communications professionals at Stratovation Group. With deep roots in agribusiness strategy, market research, and branding, Stratovation brings a powerful operational backbone to help amplify FarmCon's growth, streamline sponsor and startup onboarding, and elevate attendee experience.

"We're excited to partner with Stratovation Group for the event," said Van Trump. "Their team brings the horsepower and industry insight needed to help take FarmCon from its current level of high success to something even more transformative for the ag world."

More Details to Come
Like past FarmCons, the 2026 version will be more than attendees sitting back and watching panels, according to Van Trump.
"FarmCon 2026 will be where conversations turn into commitments," Van Trump said. "It's about farmers taking home ideas they can implement in their fields. It's about making deals, shaking hands, and showing up for the future of agriculture. Whether you're a farmer looking for an edge, a rising founder chasing your first seed round or a seasoned exec looking to invest, acquire, or partner, this is the event where deals get done."
