"We received applications from over 120 talented students last year," says Ralph Robertson, a Maryland farmer and chairman of the Foundations board of directors. "It made the selection process a tough one, but I have no doubt the future of agriculture is in great hands. These students have such a passion for the industry, and as a farmer myself, that makes me immensely proud."
