I am a Farmer. I belong to Nasalapur village of Belagavi district of Karnataka. I grow sugarcane, soybean, groundnut and other crops on rotation basis in my 7 acre farmlands. In 2021 during monsoon season there was continuous rainfall and due to that I was tensed how and when to harvest my Soyabean crop. I was looking for a gap in the rainfall forecast, to make the necessary arrangements like labour and machine for harvesting. I found a gap of 3 days between Sept 16-18 of weather forecast saying that the possibility of rainfall is very less in these days through Sat2farm mobile app. The weather forecast helped me to timely harvest.
