SOLLUM TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVES THE DLC CERTIFICATION

“Beyond the conclusive tests we have conducted at Sollum, the DLC certification is final confirmation of our lighting solution’s efficiency by an independent and reputable third party,” declared Gabriel Dupras, Vice President of Research and Development for Sollum Technologies.

Montréal, Québec, Canada, July 21, 2021 - Sollum Technologies is excited to announce that its smart LED lighting solution's fixture received the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) certification. "Beyond the conclusive tests we have conducted at Sollum, the DLC certification is final confirmation of our lighting solution's efficiency by an independent and reputable third party," declared Gabriel Dupras, Vice President of Research and Development for Sollum Technologies.

Indeed, the DLC is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes high quality, energy-efficient commercial lighting products in collaboration with public utilities, other environmentally minded stakeholders, and lighting design and manufacturing companies. These partners' contributions enable the establishment of quality standards, facilitate enlightened leadership, and provide information, tools, and technical expertise.

The members of the DLC are located in Canada and the United States. "For greenhouse growers, this certification is a well-documented guarantee of efficiency for each product on the DLC website," emphasized Gabriel. "It simplifies the research process and may result in grants for purchasing DLC-certified fixtures."
