ONDO Smart Farming Solutions is glad to announce its most recent innovation - the ONDO wireless AIR Points. Thanks to this latest addition to ONDO Solution stack, the company can now offer automation for big-size farms that only takes a fraction of the time and costs incurred with a typical cable-based install.

The innovative wireless AIR Point modules can manage up to 4 irrigation valves and 1 soil sensor each and allow farmers using ONDO to get full visibility on the irrigation processes and humidity levels of the soil, 24/7. The remote AIR Point control enables farmers to adjust the scheduled irrigation processes any time, from any part of the world, and achieve an even more precise and efficient usage of their water resources. Historical record on all sensor data is also available to view inside the ONDO platform.

The robust AIR Points are battery-powered and require no recharging throughout the entire crop season. Battery status can still be monitored at time. Compared to similar solutions, they come at a very competitive price, are quick and easy to install, making the farmers' investment in automation quite economically efficient.

The new modules have undergone extensive internal testing and have already been deployed for on-field monitoring and tests in select ONDO customer farms.

The ONDO roadmap for the next few months includes extending the AIR Points with even more sensors, as well as enhancing the precision irrigation control, so the irrigation processes can also be based on integrated data from soil moisture sensors positioned on different soil depths. This is a next, big step towards making ONDO a fully automated and very high-precision solution for irrigation and fertigation, for all crops.
